Before 04:07
You ought to be something better and your mother says you ought to be But I can see you are already so much better than you think you are And I can see those beautiful eyes staring at me from out the photograph Going from green to light brown to golden, glinting in the sun And all you see is everything and now I know why I’ve been this way before And I can’t believe how it’s meant to be and how everything seemed to go before And I can know but I wanted to say that I would never go And I know now that I’m not next to you but I promise that I will be soon And you all you know is everything that I wanted to tell you this today And take my time and I’ll tar yours too 'cause its always meant, always meant to be this way And all you see is everything and now I know why I’ve been this way before And I can’t believe how it’s meant to be and how everything seemed to go before

don't worry about me you have got your own choices to make i cant make them for you you have to make them for yourself and if i don't look like i seem to care its only because i wish i wasn't there and if i don't have much to say right now its just because i want to take my bow he wrote you just one letter and now your head's in a spin nothing to do but to sit and wait and i don't like the way he clicks his fingers, you come running and don't know if i can deal with things like that happening again if i take my time to concentrate if there's something i did a little late if i wanted to be the better man would i lose you and have to make other plans?

about

Pauli Phillips at long last emerges with his brand new album, 'a few words before it rains and we have to go home'.

Six years after his debut EP, Pauli is back with 11 completely original songs, mostly written during and after the summer of 2009.

The 22-year old played and programmed all the sounds, mixed and produced 'a few words...' in his bedroom in Weston-super-mare, UK.

This exciting collection of songs will include, 'Rock, Paper, Scissors', 'A Song For Annie' and 'Lost'.

The record will be available as a digital download only and also feature cover artwork by young, Polish artist, Kasia Melnyk.
